How We Ship, How We Care
Every piece we make has its own journey — from our workbench to your front door. Here’s how we prepare, package, and deliver your order with the same care we put into crafting it.
At Nightshade Nook Décor, every order is handcrafted, packed, and shipped with care from our Upstate New York studio. Whether it’s a small-batch décor piece or a made-to-order furniture project, we take great care to ensure your purchase arrives safely and beautifully presented.
Processing Time
Most ready-to-ship items are processed within 3–5 business days.
Custom and made-to-order items require additional production time based on the complexity of the piece. Estimated lead times will always be communicated at the time of purchase.
You’ll receive tracking information via email once your order ships.
Shipping & Delivery
We currently ship within the United States using trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx.
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on package weight and destination.
We offer free local delivery within our service area in Upstate New York. (We do not offer in-person pickup.)
If you’re unsure whether your address qualifies for local delivery, please contact us prior to ordering.
Custom Orders
For custom live-edge furniture, countertops, mantels, or large-scale décor pieces, additional shipping arrangements may apply:
Custom orders typically require 12–18 weeks for production, depending on material availability and current scheduling.
Once your piece is complete, we’ll coordinate shipment or local delivery directly with you.
Crating and freight costs are determined individually based on size, weight, and destination.
All custom orders must be paid in full prior to shipment or delivery.

Packaging
Each item is carefully packaged to ensure safe arrival. We use eco-conscious materials whenever possible — recyclable boxes, kraft paper, and branded inserts — to protect both your order and the environment.
Damaged or Lost Packages
If your package arrives damaged or goes missing in transit, please contact us within 7 days of the delivery date (or expected delivery date).
Include your order number and photos of the item and packaging so we can help resolve the issue quickly.
Large or Freight Shipments
For oversized or custom furniture shipments, customers are responsible for ensuring the delivery path (doorways, stairs, etc.) can accommodate the piece.
Freight carriers require that all visible damage be noted on the Bill of Lading at the time of delivery.
